Looking for a local nightclub that features live performances, dancing, and more? Ibiza is your dream destination. This new and innovative spot was opened in July 2023 taking over the space where the Outback Steakhouse was located (relocated down the road to 365 Elden Street) on 150 Elden Street Herndon VA, making this spot relatively new to the area.
The business was founded by two Honduran brothers Jimmy and Yonis Matute, who claim they are seeking to bring life to the nightclub scene in the area. Since arriving in the United States, these brothers claim they have always worked in the restaurant and nightlife industry and wanted to revolutionize the industry. With their first success in West Virginia in the nightclub industry, they decided to transport this state-of-the-art, thriving industry to their hometown.
“We started our first business in West Virginia and it was a success. We brought the community together there and decided to do the same with our hometown, Herndon. We are young, full of life and ready to work hard and contribute to the local economy,” the brothers wrote in a joint statement.
The business is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and open on Wednesday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. The business closes on Sunday at 2 a.m. This Nightclub is known for having free entries before 11 p.m. on certain days as well as their Big Show Saturdays, Domingo Bachateros, and their live performances.
Recently Ibiza hosted De La Ghetto (an American singer and rapper who is known for fusing reggaeton music with hip hop and trap rhythms, creating Latin trap music) on Friday December 27th, 2024 which was a hit to the local Hispanic population of Herndon. The affordable ticket pricing and VIP access to this artist brought an increase in fame and attention to Ibiza Nightclub.
