Starbucks has done it again! The newest menu drop has people excited and searching or their nearest location to give these items a try!
A huge aspect of this menu is the lavender drinks that were released. Between the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte, the stores are packed with buyers. This floral note added to already beloved drinks adds something special to the menu. The lavender does add some sweetness, however not very much, allowing for this drink to appeal to nearly all who try it.
In addition to the returning spring menu items, they added a new flavor to their palette… cherry! They released a cherry powder as well as a cherry cold foam, allowing people to add this cherry flavor to a drink of their choice. Starbucks has made the Iced Cherry Chai, a chai latte with cherry cold foam, but this taste can be added to anything people desire.
Many people get creative when it comes to the spring menu, as well. A common combination people like to make is adding either the cherry or lavender powder to the Strawberry Acai Lemonade refresher. The already adored refresher gets something special from these extra additions, turning an already yummy drink into something even greater!
Starbucks didn’t stop at drinks with this new menu, either. They released a new food item called the Jalapeno Chicken Pocket. This spicy bite gives people all they want from a lunch item. The chicken provides protein, making it a hearty meal. The jalapeno adds spice, making it a memorable taste. The spice doesn’t end with the jalapeno pieces, either! The flatbread containing all of the ingredients is a chile flatbread, there are diced poblano peppers within, three-chile-pepper cheese sprinkled throughout, and even jalapeno cream cheese inside. Although delicious, if spicy foods aren’t for you, you might want to give this item a miss.
Starbucks continues to wow the masses with their delicious menu additions. Despite these items only being temporary, it makes many excited for the companies abilities for future menu items being just as tasty and satisfying.
