The country singer Zach Bryan and influencer Brianna LaPaglia have officially broken up after a year of dating, leaving some messy drama behind. On October 22, Bryan posted an instagram story stating that the two split.
“I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” Bryan wrote, adding, “[I] had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things.”
In response to this post, LaPaglia said that she was blindsided because she had no idea that he was going to write it and filmed a Youtube video explaining what happened. In the video she mentions, “We broke up yesterday,” adding, “so I wasn’t ready to do anything publicly, I wanted to handle this as a human first.” LaPagila also said, “He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts being like, ‘Are you okay?” After addressing the break up, LaPaglia didn’t want to stay silent and started to share the inside scoop of their relationship.
LaPaglia described her relationship with Bryan as emotionally abusive. She brought this up on the BFFs podcast that she films with influencer Josh Richards and Barstool president Dave Portony.
“He isolated me from my whole entire life. He wouldn’t let me be who I wanted to be. He made me hate everything that I loved about myself,” LaPaglia said.
LaPaglia was bombed by love which made her ultimately ignore any red flags about the country singer. Later on the podcast she also revealed that Bryan’s team offered her $12 million dollars to sign an NDA and stay silent about their relationship. LaPaglia rejected the offer.
“I’m not signing away my experiences and what I went through to protect someone that hurt me,” LaPaglia said.
She is continuing to defend her story and reveal the truth about their relationship.
Richards and Portoney decided to back up LaPaglia through this messy time by creating two diss tracks on Bryan. The diss track that is titled “Country Diddy” was released on Youtube and references all of Bryan’s controversies throughout his career. In addition to the “Country Diddy” diss track, the two friends made another one called the “Smallest Man.” This track throws shade to Bryan, even mentioning lyrics in his own song “Revival.” To wrap it up they closed with a rewording of Bryan’s song “28,” the lyric includes, “How lucky is Bri to be free of ZB.” Besides the diss tracks, Portnoy and Richards have openly admitted to not liking Bryan and both have been blocked by Bryan on social media. They have both decided to support LaPaglia and defend her name in this situation.
Even though LaPaglia has a lot of support through this break up, there have been many different opinions on the two’s love. The country star’s reputation has been going downhill ever since the split while LaPaglia’s is increasing. People wonder what more LaPaglia will reveal and if Bryan will ever respond to these accusations thrown at him.
