The popstar Taylor Swift kicked off her final leg of the tour this last weekend with three shows in Miami, Florida. Swift’s “Eras Tour” will be coming to an end on December 8. This coming weekend she will be performing in Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana with the singer Gracie Abrams as her opener.
The following weekend, Swift will perform her last USA show in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Swift will then head to Canada to perform in Toronto for a weekend at the Rogers Centre before ending her tour in Vancouver.
The “Eras Tour” kicked off back in early 2023 and since then Swift has had the highest grossing tour concert of all time. While she was on tour she released two of her Taylor Version albums, 1989 and Speak Now. She has also released The Tortured Poets Department, which is her newest album. During her long tour she switched up the setlist, invited special guests, and amazed concert goers with many dramatic outfit changes.
The two special surprise songs during each show are fan favorites of the “Eras Tour.” Every show gets their own songs which can be mashups or a full song. Fans love to keep track of them and look forward to them every time there is a show.
Last fall season, Swift even released an “Eras Tour” movie, which was a whole film of one of her shows in Los Angeles. She decided to make a movie for the fans that weren’t able to get tickets to the tour. When her fans, also known as Swifties, can’t get tickets to shows, many of them live stream her shows on streaming apps like Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Many Swifties are expecting Swift to drop her last two rerecord albums soon, Taylor Swift and Reputation. Fans are excited to see what will happen with only four weekends left of her tour. Many wonder if there will be a special surprise or maybe a whole new album instead. Stay tuned to see how the famous popstar will conclude her almost two long year tour.
