Ms. Ibach is just one out of all of our amazing counselors here at South Lakes. If you haven’t met her before, here are some things about her. She has only been working here as a counselor since January. She works with all grade levels. Her hometown is just around the corner as she grew up in Herndon. She went to high school at Oakton and attended James Madison University.
When asked about being a counselor at South Lakes, she said, “I love my job. I just like being in the school building and the environment. High school is the most fun. I love that you guys get to be here and having fun.” Ms. Ibach greatly enjoys the company of her colleagues, describing them as, “really good teachers and counselors, and the staff is really awesome here.”
Outside of work, she enjoys getting out in nature and traveling, especially to the Caribbean. She also loves going on nature walks and hiking, thus she loves the color green and thinks that green represents her as a person. Her favorite food is pizza and if she could have any superpower it would be to read minds.
In her free time she also loves to rescue dogs. Naturally, her spirit animal is a dog. She loves cuddly dogs and is allergic to cats.
She likes country music and her favorite singer is Luke Combs. Her favorite TV show is a show called “House” and her favorite movie is “Gone With The Wind.”
