Drake and Central Cee released their collaboration on the hit radio station “On the radar” on July 21, 2023. They got number 80 on the Hot 100 first timers with 7.1 million streams in the U.S. alone. Drake and Central Cee recorded their song together during Drake’s New York City stop on his It’s All a Blur Tour. The song verse “It’s a madness and badness, combination” is gaining popularity on TikTok.
Gabe Paul and “On the radar”
On the radar is a New York based radio show hosted by Gabe Paul. Paul gets upcoming artists to do freestyles and interviews by local drill rappers. Before starting his own radio show, Paul mentored under Angie Martinez who is known as one of radio’s “hall of famers.” Paul interned for Martinez while at St. John’s University on power 105.1’s. Paul started his journey in 2018 in an empty iHeart music building.
Central Cee:
Central Cee, an upcoming artist, has charted 12 songs on the official U.K. singles chart, including six top 10s and one No. 1: “Sprinter.”
