Hirohiko Araki releases Part 9 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

The JoJoLands: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 9 / Hirohiko Araki’s Creative Works.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s ninth part, The JoJoLands, began its serialization on Friday, February 17th, 2023. The JoJoLands follows right after JoJolion, and it takes place in the alternative universe. We are introduced to our fifteen-year-old protagonist, Jodio Joestar, and how this Hawaiian boy suddenly became rich. The 70-page chapter starts off with Jodio’s first-person narration and he states: “This is a story about how I got filthy rich. What, you think is ‘filthy rich’ is an exaggeration? By ‘filthy rich’ I do mean making fat stacks of money. Not humble enough for you? Too bad..because I’m definitely going to get my hands on it.”

Many readers and viewers believe that Jodio may be the alternate universe counterpart of Giorno Giovanna. The Italian Gangster’s story takes place in Naples, Italy, and he becomes a Mafia Boss by the age of 15. Golden Wind’s events happen in just eight days and he infiltrates into the Passione Gang. Giorno triumphed over Diavolo in Golden Wind due to the capabilities of his stand, Golden Experience Requiem. He is the son of Jonathan and DIO, making him an interesting member of the original Joestar bloodline. JoJoLands and Golden Wind seem to draw parallels from one another. However, Jodio is severely more ruthless compared to Giorno.

JoJoLands takes place in O’ahu, Hawaii, in the subtropical islands. Two teen brothers cruising in a car who are then pulled over by cops for a routine inspection. One of the cops attempts to molest Dragona, the older brother, and this angers Jodio. He jumps out of the car to protect Dragona and to help evade the situation. We are revealed his stand, November Rain, which is based on the Guns N’ Roses song. His stand capabilities are unknown, however, the license plate of the car is altered via the stand, Smooth Operators. Regarding the series’ anime, Stone Ocean was completed on December 1st, 2022. David Productions has consistently animated JoJo Parts 1-6, and they may animate Part 7.  Steel Ball Run takes place in 1890, and it follows Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli as they make their way to earn a fifty-million dollar grand prize.

The cross-country race originates from San Diego and its destination is in New York City. Fans are concerned that Steel Ball Run may be expensive to animate. Some fans are excited if any CGI will be used to animate characters’ horseback riding and other exquisite scenes. Steel Ball Run’s manga was auspiciously acclaimed by its audience and other JoJo parts have received this as well. Hirohiko Araki has felt jubilant to create JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure for the last 36 years ever since 1987. JoJoLands may be one of the last few installments of JoJo before the series concludes itself entirely. So far, from what we’ve seen, JoJoLands looks very promising and there is more to come of it!
