Winter Spirit Week Recap
Spirits were high and clothes were ridiculous, as always, our Seahawks did not disappoint with the outfits. Last week we celebrated our winter spirit days in order to ramp up hype for the Illumination and senior night basketball game. From Skis to Snowflakes, here’s a breakdown of what everyone wore.
Starting off the week strong with “Skis The Day” as it has been titled by leadership. This sports day was the day to show off your athletic gear and get in touch with your snowy side.
The following day was the now infamous “S(no)w Bag Day” where students were encouraged to bring anything but their traditional backpack. From totes to boats, this was a day to be remembered.
Following that hectic spirit day, we move on to “Swinter” where students adorned their favorite summer swimsuits and Hawaiian shirts while still staying school appropriate.
As we started coming to the end of the week, students followed the theme “Flurry Flicks” to dress up like their favorite winter characters.
To end these spirit days off with a bang, we had a snowstorm. Students dressed in all white to follow the day’s theme along with the basketball game’s theme.
After such a frosty spirit week, juniors winning with the most spirit points, there was no better way to finish it off than with our Illumination event and basketball game. There is no doubt that the next one will bring even more intense outfits and more fun to be had.
