Here are some ideas to consider doing this year.

Secret Gift Exchange

Whether it is a box of chocolates or a teddy bear with a card attached, pick out a gift for a friend gift exchange. This event is similar to secret santa, although this edition of secret santa is much more fun and has much more feeling to it. It is fairly simple, a group of friends put their names in a hat or basket, and each friend picks out a name to buy a gift for. Home-made or not, a gift is a gift, and it is the thought that counts. Have fun and make sure to be grateful for each friend’s presence, nothing more is required for a good time exchanging gifts with friends.

Have a Movie Marathon 

A nice relaxing evening laying on the couch and watching only the greatest movies of all time, is what Friendsentine’s day is all about. A digital movie marathon with screen share, could be the perfect way to go about this idea. This way, friends from all over the place are included in all the fun. Not much is needed for a digital movie marathon, just an evening full of movies, and boxed popcorn from the grocery store. Plus, no more keeping the excitement unknown, the excitement to watch the movie can now be shared with others. There is absolutely no way anyone can have a miserable time on Friendsentine’s day, not if there is a movie marathon involved.

Dinner Date

The best way to end off the Friendsentine’s day fun is a nice dinner with friends. Cooking a nice home made meal sounds amazing, but going out seems like a blast as well. Whether one chooses to stay in or go out, a dinner date is a good way to end off the day. It’s important to keep the joy and excitement  alive, cause the day is not over quite yet. Dinner with friends should be a time to socialize and appreciate one’s relationships with others. For some people, the chance to spend such a day with friends only comes once in a while.
