Before teaching Latin I at South Lakes, Mr. Wood spent seven years as a teacher at Lake Braddock High School. Prior to that, he worked in Colorado at a charter school, teaching Latin to grades K-8. “I love how inclusive South Lakes is – kids come from all walks of life,” Wood says.
Mr. Wood earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame before going on to Miami University for his Master’s (MA) in Art Teaching. Later on, he went to the University of Colorado Boulder for his MA in Classics.
In his free time, Mr. Wood loves to cook and try new things, especially Italian food. “I also love walking my puppy, Wringly,” he adds.
