The 2025 NFL draft class is fantastic, and many prospects have incredible potential. Mounds of talented players, specifically both sides of the line finally have their NFL opportunity, but the few skill position players are true stars, and teams are eager to take a grab. This is my 2025 top 10 NFL pick mock draft.
Pick 10. Chicago Bears
During the 2024 season, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams statistically had the least amount of time to throw the ball before being sacked out of all quarterbacks in the NFL. This statistic alone proves that the Bears are in desperate need of Offensive Line assistance. For this reason, I think the Bears will draft Offensive Tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. out of Texas.
Pick 9. New Orleans Saints
Without Derek Carr, the New Orleans Saints will definitely take a hit in the upcoming season, but one position can help comfort the developing Saints quarterback, Spencer Rattler. That position would be either an offensive guard, or tackle. 2 linemen in a row, the New Orleans Saints will select Josh Simmons out of Ohio State.
Pick 8. Carolina Panthers
After beating all odds and finally showing his true potential, Bryce Young has led the victory drought Panthers to victory, matching up with top 5 teams like the Chiefs, Eagles, and Buccaneers. Though they did not beat all of these teams, they definitely came close unlike previous years. Now that the Panthers have true offensive potential, they need to get a weapon that Bryce Young can actually rely on. With that being said, the Panthers will select wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan out of the University of Arizona.
Pick 7. New York Jets
The Jets are bound to rebuild this year following loss after loss, and with that rebuild they need to continue to build their powerhouse defense. With 2 top 15 cornerbacks in the NFL, why not create a beast of a defense and select safety Malaki Starks out of Georgia.
Pick 6. Las Vegas Raiders
In the 2024 draft, the Raiders drafted tight end Brock Bowers who would ultimately end up as an absolute weapon. Unfortunately, there’s no one fit on the roster to provide him with the throws he needs. The organization has been lacking a real franchise quarterback since Derek Carr’s departure and now’s the time to fill that hole by drafting Shadeur Sanders out of the University of Colorado at Boulder. Many think that the young star will be taken much earlier in the draft, but teams like the Giants and Titans have positions prioritized higher than quarterback.
Pick 5. Jacksonville Jaguars
Now that we’re in the top 5 picks, the players taken by these teams are absolutely vital and all have the potential to completely change the dynamic of the team. With an already outstanding, and arguably top 5 receiver in Brian Thompson Jr. as well as a reasonably reliable quarterback in Trevor Lawrence. Because of these 2 players, the offensive really doesn’t need too much help and the team definitely needs some more talent on defense. They already have a somewhat alright secondary, but are really lacking in the defensive line. For this reason, the Jaguars will select defensive tackle Mason Graham out of Michigan.
Pick 4. New England Patriots
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, drafted in 2024 has already shown that he can flip the depressing Patriots offense around, and is starting to really show his potential. Now that the offense finally has some talent, and a reliable quarterback since the legendary Tom Brady, they have to focus on their defense, specifically their defensive backs. Ultimately, the Patriots are predicted to draft Cornerback Will Johnson, who is like the previous pick, coming out of Michigan.
Pick 3. New York Giants
Most popular analysts believe that heisman winner Travis Hunter will be taken as the number one pick in the 2025 draft. Honestly, that’s just not gonna happen. Both teams ahead of the Giants have far different priorities than a wide receiver. The Giants may not have a solid quarterback, but Drew Lock really does have potential which he showcased against the Eagles last year while still with the Seahawks organization. After drafting star receiver Malik Nabers in 2024 who has already solidified himself as a top 10 receiver in the league, with another star receiver, the Giants offense will be unstoppable, even with an average quarterback. Every path ultimately leads to the Giants drafting WR/CB Travis Hunter out of the University of Colorado Boulder.
Pick 2. Cleveland Browns
For some reason, the Browns re-signed Deshuan Watson with a $230 million 5 – year contract. Though it’s unbelievable due to Watsons lack of skill, this contract is holding them back from taking a quarterback. The only viable option would be to take monster defensive end Abdul Carter out of Penn State. His playstyle is absolutely electric and something we haven’t seen from other defensive ends in a long while. He really will make a difference on this team. If Myles Garret does not get traded, the Browns will have the most dominant defensive line in the league by far.
Pick 1. Tennessee Titans
If you watch a Titans game, or even the highlights, you’ll observe the joke that the Titans quarterback Will Levis is. He just can’t seem to do anything right. In his rookie season, he seemed to have so much potential but at this point all hope is lost, and the Titans must move on while they can. For the first pick in the 2025 NFL draft, the Titans will select Cameron Ward, known for his “nonchalant” playstyle, out of the University of Miami. Able to withstand heavy pressure, and stay extremely calm and tranquil in the pocket, the star out of Miami is just what the team needs.
