The baseball and softball teams faced Marshall yesterday in their respective games, with varsity softball winning 3-2 and varsity baseball losing 14-1. Both varsity games were held at home.
Marshall was the last team for South Lakes to play against in the Liberty District rotation and marks the hallway point for the season.
To date varsity softball has a 2-5 record and varsity baseball is at 1-6.
Both teams will now spend the second half of the season replaying the seven liberty district schools, starting with an away game against McLean on Friday, Apr. 19.
