Both varsity boys and girls lacrosse have started this season off undefeated, as of March 26.
“The season has been a lot better,” said co-captain, senior Abby Reed. “I really think our off season bonding and practices have contributed to the success of the team.”
The girls are 3-0 after defeating Falls Church 19-13,
Yorktown 12-11, and Dominion 13-1. The girls have already earned more wins than the past two seasons combined.
“The success of the team has made it a lot easier to be captain,” said co-captain, senior Samantha Chamberlain. “The team has a lot more chemistry and we work very well together on the field.”
The boys are 2-0 after defeating Falls Church 15-1 and Yorktown 11-7.
“We have been playing really well and we are looking forward to the rest of the season,” said junior Srikir Kuppa. “We have come together as a team and we have better team chemistry.”
The boys and girls next games are tonight at 7:15 p.m. The boys play at Fairfax while the girls host Fairfax.
The girls will play away against Marshall on March 30 and Washington-Lee on April 10. Both games begin at 7:15 p.m.
 The boys wil participate in the West Springfield Tournament on April 2-4. They will face Chantilly, West Springfield, and Westfield.
The boys next home game is against Marshall on April 13. Game time is 7:15 p.m.
