The girls varsity squad defeated South County, 64-26 in the finals of the West Springfield Tip Off Tournament.
Senior Emily Lopynski had a game high of eight points, and added three rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Sophomores Caitlin Jensen, Natalie Toma, and junior Mary Severin each contributed eight points.
“The tournament was a lot of fun,” said Jensen. “We played really well and I think we’re going to do really well this season.”
The next girls varsity game is on Dec. 13 against McLean at 7:30 p.m.
