The girls varsity basketball team will kick off their season on Nov. 29 at Westfield.
Girls varsity basketball had two scrimmages prior to the upcoming game, Annandale and a jamboree style scrimmage against Edison and Elizabeth Seton. The Lady Seahawks lost to Annandale but won against Edison and Elizabeth Seton.
“We played really well,” said sophomore Natalie Toma. “After the first game we realized our mistakes and fixed them in the next game.”
The varsity game starts at 7:30 at Westfield.

“I feel like our success in the last scrimmage will convert into the season opener,” said Toma.
