Thursday, August 25 marks the first home game scrimmage of the South Lakes Seahawk’s football season against Centreville, the 61st ranked team in Virginia.
Wooten expressed no concern of the upcoming game.
“We like these sort of games,” said Wooten. “These games give us a chance to really go out there and prove ourselves.”
This may have some part to do with the young players on the team.

“We’ve had a lot of great young players that I’ve seen really step up,” said Wooten. “I have seen great hard work and determination. Be ready to be surprised.”
