Here is a motto to live by.
Log off.
Technology is slowly and subtly taking over the world by brainwashing individuals into thinking that they need the newest iPhone, and after acquiring it, they need to spend every hour of the day using it. In all seriousness, technology has found a way to implant itself into the brain of every teenager.
Whether it is through addiction or simply distraction, technology has altered each and every person’s mindset.
Teenagers feel the need to compare themselves to their peers. Technology has made this way too easy to damage one’s self esteem.
A lack of sleep can also play a role in the way we feel about ourselves. Even if you don’t believe it, trust me, sleep deprivation takes a huge toll on your personality.
In fact, many students have diagnosed themselves with insomnia and feel the best cure for this newfound disorder is to tweet about it throughout the night.
Of course, that makes sense. My bad, I forgot that every study done on insomnia states that the best way to fall asleep and stay asleep is by logging onto your computer.
If there is one good way to improve your performance in school and life, it is to just log off sometimes.
