Starbucks has recently removed some of their menu items, including many of the frappuccinos people love and adore.
The coffee chain announced on February 24th that they would be removing their less popular drinks in order to “focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence”.
The items they took off the menu are supposed to be similar to other drinks on the menu, or can be too complex to make.
Here are the menu items they removed:
- Espresso Frappuccino
- Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino
- Java Chip Frappuccino
- White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino
- Chai Creme Frappuccino
- Caramel Ribbon Crunch Creme Frappuccino
- Double Chocolaty Chip Creme Frappuccino
- Chocolate Cookie Crumble Creme Frappuccino
- White Chocolate Creme Frappuccino
- White Hot Chocolate
- Royal English Breakfast Latte
- Iced Matcha Lemonade
- Honey Almondmilk Flat White
“I am really upset that many of the Frappacinos have been removed from the menu,” Senior Mckenna Culkin says. “Those have always been my favorite, so I’m sad that there aren’t that many left to choose from.”
Starbucks also announced that there will be more menu items being removed throughout 2025, leading to a 30% reduction in the amount of items on the menu. However, Starbucks has also released some new spring menu items including the Iced Lavender Cream Oat Milk Matcha, the Iced Lavender Oat Milk Latte, the Iced Cherry Chai, and the Jalapeno Chicken pocket. Along with that, new merchandise will be added to the lineup, including spring mugs, cups, and straws.
Though your favorite drink might have been removed from the menu, there are still many drinks left to choose from, and maybe you can try one of the new spring drinks they have put out!
