Despite the virtual and in-person stress and confusion, Leadership has some upcoming community events for students. Their latest event will benefit the community as a whole.

The South Lakes Class council will be having a canned food drive this Saturday February 27, 2021 from 12 to 4PM. Students should pull up on the flag pole side of South Lakes. Students can stop by and donate canned food to win class of the year points! All contributions go to the South Lakes Food Pantry.

It is important for leadership to continue hosting events even through we are in a pandemic because they want to keep the school engaged and have events for the students, you only get high school once, so they want to make it memorable even if we are stuck at home and are unable to have homecoming or pep rallies. Giving back is a great way to connect with the community.
