South Lakes students, teachers, parents, siblings, and community are invited to join the South Lakes PTSA for a very special guest, Kwame Alexander, (bookinaday.org) when he presents at the Dec. 11 PTSA meeting.

Kwame Alexander will chat about his new teen novel, “He Said, She Said,” as well as his poetry and the rooster that made him famous.

“He Said She Said,” a Junior Library Guild Selection, is Kwame Alexander’s Debut Young Adult/Teen Novel about “a fiery and funny romance with an undercurrent of social justice and awareness,” according to Publishers Weekly.

He may even speak about publishing or organizing to educate girls in Ghana. The meeting will be held in the Cafeteria at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome!
