After over twelve years spent in school, many seniors see graduation day as a far off goal. However, South Lakes is making that goal a reality by posting a countdown to graduation, hung in the senior sub-school.
“Because there are now less than one hundred days until graduation, it seems more real,” senior Stephen Gurly said.
The countdown started on March 8 to mark that there were 100 school days until graduation on June 14.
Many students have felt the need to start celebrating early, such as senior Rachel Berman who heated up her oven the honor the passing time.

“I baked 500 cookies to celebrate 100 days till graduation and to create class bonding,” Berman said.
As of today there are 87 school days until graduation.
