Be Right Burger plans to design a Seahawk Burger that will benefit The South Lakes Sentinel publication.
BRB is a local burger joint with its sole location in the Reston Town Center. However, the venue hopes to expand in the coming years to Tysons Corner.
The current location stresses eco-friendly decisions, including chairs that are made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles. The menu is also environmentally conscientious, using only all-natural beef that is free of antibiotics. BRB strives to serve eco-friendly burgers at an affordable cost.
“Typically, the ‘eco-friendly’ tag means you’re going to pay more, but we’re able to provide not only quality food, but quality food faster and at a lower cost,” said BRB’s Vice President of Marketing, Wade Breaux.
BRB provides a unique experience for its customers by incorporating technology in the ordering process from the menu. Mounted on one wall around the restaurant are TVs that display BRB’s live social media feeds, creating a video wall.
“Technology has made our lives infinitely easier, but the burger category has been slow to leverage it,” said Breaux. “At BRB, our guests can order through our web site, via the touch screen kiosks right inside the door, through mobile phone apps, hand-held devices, or by just walking right up to the counter.”
Breaux believes this ordering process appeals greatly to teenagers who rely heavily on technology.
“Our place is ideal for younger people – we are all about technology and great burgers, two things that people your age understand and appreciate,” said Breaux.
BRB says its decision to become involved with South Lakes was an easy one.
“First, we are a small, local burger joint and it is very important to us that we are a part of this community,” said Breaux. “We’re not a big chain – our offices are here in Herndon, our employees and our company are all from the area, and as we grow our business, we feel it’s important to get involved and contribute to the larger community.”
BRB designed three possibilities for the Seahawk Burger. They are as follows: burger with Chili, Sauteed Onions, lettuce and tomato, turkey burger with American cheese, Wasabi Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, and burger with pepper jack, pico de gallo, jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle ketchup.
Seahawk community members are encouraged to vote on the choices until Friday, October 14. The Seahawk Burger that is selected will be announced in the first issue of The South Lakes Sentinel that will circulate Friday, October 28.
