Senior Carter Schultz is a leading member of the golf team.

How long have you been playing golf and what has kept you involved in it?

I have been playing golf since freshman year. Playing with my friends and motivating myself to become a better overall golfer has kept me involved.

What is your favorite part of golf?

My favorite part about golf is when I sink a real long putt and the fans go wild.

How do you feel your golfing abilities have improved in the past four years?

Over the past four I have become a more consistent golfer and am able to shoot lower scores.

In what ways have you seen the South Lakes golf program change in the past four years?

The golfers on the team have become more dedicated to the team and to the ultimate goal of winning the state championship.

As a senior, what are your thoughts and goals about and for golf in the future?

My goals for golf in the future are to keep playing golf on the weekends in the summer with my friends and using golfing as a networking tool later in my life.
