Fifth year counselor, Tracey Albert, enjoys helping students realize their passion in life.
Why did you decide to be a school counselor?
I have always enjoyed working with young people and encouraging them to be their best. I wanted to do a job that encompassed what I naturally enjoy doing. There is nothing better than having a job that allows you to do what you love to do.
What is your favorite part of being a counselor?
I enjoy building relationships with students and encouraging them to do their best. One of my favorite parts is seeing students discover their passion in life. It’s almost like I see the light bulb go off in their head and they have a new excitement/motivation for life.
What other things do you like about the job?
Helping students with the college application process.
