On April fifth, a sneak peak of Universal Studios Orlando’s new Epic Universe theme park. Epic Universe is supposed to officially open to the public on May 22, 2025 but many fans and media outlets like USA TODAY and Fox Business got early access.
The park features five unique themed worlds: Celestial Park, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of the Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo, and Dark Universe. For the fans, the park offers a chance to be in the franchise’s worlds, interact with their characters, and expand their stories.
Celestial Park will include a Stardust Racer Roller Coaster that launches people across the cosmos. There will also be many galaxy themed restaurants including Bing Bang Burger, Harvest Moon vegan pizzas, and more. How to Train Your Dragon world will showcase how dragons and vikings live together in harmony. It has a roller coaster ride through Isle of Berk, a live stage show, a dragon racing trainer attraction, and the chance to meet the famous dragons and vikings. This area also has dining options like the Spit Fyre Grill, Mead Hall, and Hooligans Grog and Gruel.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Ministry of Magic fans can encounter fantastic beasts when exploring this wizarding world in the 1920’s, then take a trip to the 1990’s British Ministry with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Bar Moonshine, Le Gobelet Noir, and Cafe L’air De la Sirene are all restaurants within this wizarding world park. The newest Harry Potter ride is called Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, where Dolores Umbridge is about to stand trial. The Nintendo world includes two rides, one with Donkey Kong and the other with Mario. Fans can meet all the characters and go enjoy some yummy food at the Nintendo themed restaurants.
The Dark Universe section has many food options and shops. They have animated figures of monsters like Frankenstein and the Werewolves. The roller coaster rides bring the classic monster to life and let people explore the shadowy world.
This new theme park has a lot to look forward to with monsters, Nintendo, magic, space, and dragons. Many fans can’t wait to go and try these new rides, restaurants, and meet their favorite characters. The ability to start planning is open, tickets are now available on the Universal Studios Website.
